Using electronics today is so much a part of our daily lives we hardly think of the way the world would be without electronics. Electronics degree candidates have ample of employment opportunities in Communication, Information Technology, Manufacturing, Banking, Finance, Marketing, Education, Entertainment, Defense, Quality Product Manufacturing, Automobiles etc and in different other fields. The Department of Electronics was started in the year 1998-1999 with the approval of the Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli and later on elevated to Post Graduate Department by offering M.Sc., Electronics and Communication in the year 2007-2008. The objective of the Department is to enhance students in the field of Electronics and to enrich their practical skills through class room teaching and rigorous practical training. Our departmnet provides well equipped separate Laboratory for UG and PG students. The students are encouraged and guided to undertake electronics projects to get a first hand experience in the application of electronics.
